Here is just a taste of the huge amount of research that is available on mobile phones. Feel free to call us on (03) 439 5686 and we will be happy to discuss all the research with you.

  • Mobile phone use elevates risk of a brain tumour acoustic neuroma by 80. (British Journal of Cancer 2005)
  • There is an increased risk of acoustic neuroma related to mobile phone use of at least 10 years duration. (Epidemiology 2004)
  • There is an elevated risk of astrocytoma (a malignant brain tumour) with cell phone use. (International Journal of Oncology 2003)
  • ¾ of cell phone users reported deleterious health manifestations associated with cell phone use such as headaches, brain fog, sleep disturbances difficulty in concentrating, burning face. (Journal of Egypt Public Health 2004)
  • A 2004 study concluded that calls should not be of more than 4 minutes duration and no more than 7 calls per day with a total of less than 22min. (Journal of Egypt Public Health 2004)
  • A large European Union study found that DNA damage occurred and more worryingly was still found in the second generation of cells. Genetic mutations are regarded as an initial step in the development of cancer. (Unpublished)
  • Three groups each with 8 rats were exposed for 2 hours to GSM mobile phone electromagnetic fields of different strengths. Researchers found highly significant evidence for neuronal damage in both the cortex, the hippocampus and the basal ganglia in the brains of exposed rats. (Journal of the USA Institute of Environmental Health Sciences 2003)
  • In 1995, University of Washington bioengineering professors Henry Lai and Narendra Singh found that the DNA in rats' brains was damaged after two hours of exposure to levels of microwave radiation considered safe by the government. (Bioelectromagnetics 1995)
  • “It took about 100 years for us to figure out that cigarette smoke was dangerous… It took us about 80 years to figure out that asbestos was dangerous. [But] it took us five years to figure out that mobile phones are dangerous, once we started to look.” – Dr. George Carlo, leading Epidemiologist
  • “Children, adolescence and adults are recommended to use the phone only for the necessary communication and apply hands-free set when using the mobile phone.” – Dr. Christoffer Johansen (2005), Danish Cancer Society
